Domains
Domain expiration monitoring for the renewals you assumed were automatic.
A lapsed domain takes down the site, the API and every mailbox on it at once - and auto-renew failing on a dead card is how it usually happens. CertSentry tracks registration expiry at the registry and warns you while there is still time to renew calmly.

The coverage
What this watch covers
The registry, not a guess
Expiry is read over RDAP - the registries' structured successor to WHOIS - with a WHOIS fallback for TLDs that still need it.
The same warning ladder
30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before expiry, one alert per threshold. When the renewal registers, the watch resets.
Client domains welcome
Monitor domains you don't own - nothing to install, no ownership verification. Agencies keep whole client portfolios on watch.
One watch, four angles
Domain expiry sits next to the certificate, DNS and uptime checks for the same host - the four ways a site dies silently, in one panel.
Questions
Common questions
Do I need to verify ownership?
No. Registration expiry is public registry data, so you can watch any domain - yours, a client's, or one you are waiting to acquire.
Which TLDs are supported?
Anything with public RDAP or WHOIS data, which covers the common gTLDs and most country TLDs. Where a registry publishes no usable date, the monitor reports it as unknown rather than guessing - it never invents an expiry.
My registrar auto-renews. Why bother?
Auto-renew is a billing event, and billing events fail: expired cards, closed accounts, spend limits. The watch confirms the renewal actually happened - and warns you while there is still time when it hasn't.
What happens when a domain renews?
The expiry date moves out, the monitor sees it on the next daily check, and the alert ladder resets for the new period. No stale warnings.
