- Is the TLS checker free?

- How is the grade calculated?
- The same engine that grades CertSentry-monitored domains runs your scan: the negotiated protocol and cipher, forward secrecy, key strength, certificate validity and chain hygiene, plus active probes for legacy protocols and weak ciphers the server still accepts. The grade you see here is exactly what a CertSentry monitor of the same domain would report.
- Do you store my scan?
- No. Scans aren't saved as a monitor unless you add one. Results are cached briefly by hostname to keep repeat checks fast, and the shareable link re-runs the check when someone opens it.
