I didn't get an alert — what happened?
Most "missing alert" reports fall into two buckets: a delivery problem, or the system working as intended. Run through these in order.
Delivery checks
- Look in spam, and add our alert address to your contacts so future emails land in the inbox.
- Is the channel enabled and correct? A disabled, deleted or mistyped Slack/Telegram/Discord/webhook channel silently drops messages — re-send a test.
- Is the monitor enabled, with the right checks turned on?
- Is the workspace active? A non-personal organization without a live paid plan is locked and won't run checks.
Working as intended
- Brief blips don't page you. An outage that recovers before quorum is reached is suppressed on purpose — that's the anti-noise design, not a miss.
- Expiry fires once per threshold. If you already got the 14-day warning, the next one is at 7 days.
- New monitors start from a baseline. Certificate Transparency and DNS record the existing state silently on first run, so you won't hear about what was already there.
Still convinced something was missed?
If a real event clearly went unnotified, open a ticket with the Open a ticket button below and include:
- the monitor name,
- roughly when it happened, and
- which channel you expected it on.
We'll check the delivery log with you and get to the bottom of it.
